Our next hero is Contact Form 7. Probably, I was unfair saying that building forms with this plugin is more difficult. Still, I should say that it just requires a bit more time to handle.
There are four available parameters in the interface area. Form Template, Email, Submission Alerts, Advanced Settings. Each section has the options for setting up and inserting the required fields into the contact form.
With Contact Form 7, you can easily configure email features in one place. You will appreciate that compact interface where you can easily configure everything related to email and eved add the custom code.
You can also insert the main elements of the form, where you will receive a pop-up window after clicking on the element. For example, you can mark required fields, add a text placeholder, and customize them to match your data.
To give users what they want or simplify their task, integration with other plugins can play an important role. Contact Form 7 lacks some features that other paid plugins provide, such as Gravity Forms or WPForms. However, Contact Form 7 makes up for this with integrations that can easily extend your contact form functionality.

Pay some attention to the tab “Settings.” It contains tiny settings for all forms created globally. But you can not change anything, all the basic settings for each form are set individually.
To create a WordPress form, go to “Add new form.” There are several fields to fill in:
- Name of your form;
- Your or company name;
- Reply-to email that will receive messages;
- Email subject.
When the data is filled, click “Create Form” and go to the visual editor. Here you will see several buttons. Each button has individual options and creates its own fields with certain functions.
